Tom Barber
After growing up in his family's furniture business, Tom Barber studied architecture and sculpture and began designing furniture. "I started out eating sawdust at age 12 in the factory and it is in my blood now... It's a wood thing!"
With over 40 years experience, including 10 years as a Vice President of Operations overseeing manufacturing and product development for a major manufacturer, Tom understands commercial furniture from all sides: design, manufacturing, and installation.
In 1994 Tom founded Barber Design Products.
Rosanne Cefalu
Rosanne is a Bay Area native who was exposed to the furniture industry at an early age working for her family at an Oakland based furniture company. She graduated from San Francisco State University and worked in executive management which included project management and facilities management.
Rosanne taught Restaurant Design & Layout at Diablo Valley College as an Adjunct Professor and sat on their advisory board for many years. She currently sits on the House/Facilities Committee and Food & Beverage Committee for Blackhawk Country Club. She enjoys playing golf, running and great food and wine.
She’s also a level one Sommelier which is irrelevant but makes for good conversation.
